NOTICE OF PRE-QUALIFICATION

1. The Government of the Republic of Benin has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to fund the cost of the project for the development of agricultural infrastructure and access improvement in the lower and middle Ouémé valley (PDIAD-BMVO), and intends to allocate part of this financing to payments related to the contract for civil engineering and earthworks for the development of four (04) fully water-controlled irrigated areas, including the construction and equipping of irrigation works (boreholes, pumping stations, mixed station) on 1,172 hectares across the areas of Honzounme and Titonou in the municipality of Adjohoun, and Akpassa and Agbato in the municipality of Dangbo. The Beninese Company for Agricultural Development (SoBAA S.A.), Project Manager on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, intends to pre-qualify contractors and/or companies for the execution of civil engineering and earthworks for the development of four (04) fully water-controlled irrigated areas, including the construction and equipping of irrigation works (boreholes, pumping stations, mixed station) over 1,172 hectares in the areas of Honzounme and Titonou in the municipality of Adjohoun, and Akpassa and Agbato in the municipality of Dangbo. Invitations to tender are expected to be launched in March 2025.
2. The pre-qualification will be conducted in accordance with the pre-qualification procedures specified in the Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods, Works, and Related Services under Projects financed by the IDB, September 2018 (the "Guidelines"). It is open to all candidates from countries that meet the eligibility criteria as defined in the Guidelines.
3. Eligible interested candidates can obtain further information and consult the pre-qualification document from the Beninese Company for Agricultural Development (SoBAA S.A.) at the address below during working days, from 08:30 AM to 01:00 PM and from 02:00 PM to 05:30 PM (local time).

4. Interested candidates can obtain a complete set of the pre-qualification document in French by making a written request to the address indicated below, free of charge. The document will be delivered in person.
5.
